Thrive dental and orthodontics

Whether you’re a teenager worried about your peers or an adult with a professional image to think about, there are plenty of reasons why you might be hesitant about wearing braces for several months or a couple of years. If you’re looking for a more aesthetically pleasing option, Dr. Nathan may suggest Invisalign® Clear Braces. You’ll be given multiple clear aligners that are extremely hard to see when worn. By keeping them in your mouth for a set amount of time each day, you’ll eventually cause your teeth to shift towards their desired alignment. And since Invisalign can be taken out, you won’t need to change your diet or your oral hygiene practices.

Invisalign treatment

For adults who want to make a smile improvements, we have good news: it’s not too late to move your teeth, and you may not even have to get braces. Instead, we can provide you with Invisalign clear aligners, which are nearly invisible when worn on the teeth and can be taken out for meals and brushing/flossing your teeth. You’ll be able to eat what you want, and you can feel free to smile at others without being concerned that they’ll see anything other than the beautiful smile that Invisalign brings.

Invisalign teen clear aligners

For younger patients interested in Invisalign, we offer a subset called Invisalign Teen, which makes a few changes to the treatment in order to help ensure a smoother experience with fewer complications. Each aligner will contain small blue dots that will fade away over time. Not only does this serve as a reminder for your teen when it’s time to move on to the next aligner in the series, but it also tells Dr. Nathan whether or not the aligner is being worn for the correct amount of time. Also, since the teenage years tend to be a busy time of life, a larger number of replacement aligners will be included in case one is lost or broken.

Retainers and oral appliances

Several oral appliances might be used alongside the main orthodontic treatment in order to make sure the results last. Normally, you can at least expect to receive retainers to wear regularly after braces have been removed, keeping your smile in its new, enhanced position a stopping it from shifting back. Dr. Nathan might also recommend headgear, spacers, positioners, and palatal expanders in specific situations.
