Metal and Ceramic Braces

The traditional (and typically the more affordable) metal braces consist of stainless steel brackets which are bonded to the front surface of each tooth. Wires attach the brackets to each other in a line. Then, rubber elastics connect the upper and lower braces and help correct the alignment of the jaw. Pick your own color to stand out!

From there, a Thrive Dental Orthodontist will adjust the wires at each visit, allowing your teeth to shift into the desired position over 18 to 36 months. They are highly effective for both children and adults.
